San Diego police arrested one person for driving under the influence and issued a misdemeanor citation to another person for making threats in connection with a disturbance that began at a Pacific Beach bar.

On Wednesday, August 12, at around 1:30 a.m., seven police units responded to a report of a fight at the Pacific Beach Bar and Grill on Garnet Avenue. A police officer arriving at the scene reported to the dispatcher that a large number of patrons had left the bar during the incident and were gathering on Mission Boulevard, north of Garnet.

San Diego police media services manager Monica Muñoz said five people were involved in the altercation and the people who relocated to Mission Boulevard during the incident did not cause any problems.

I thought, after reading this article that the way the police handled the fight was fair....most of the time only one party gets a majority of the blame when a brawl takes place. Here the show that both parties (which the police should have also included handing out citations to the other people around the fight if they were discovered as co-conspirators to the leading up of a fight between the two)in handing out citations and judgements of the two fighters involved. More and more people don't give a hoot....about each other and respect, as they themselves demand it from everyone else...to the point of "bow down and worship me because I am more powerful than you are...."Perhaps this essence that still is will lead a closer lapse of time in the destruction of Babylon...such as in the days of the Roman Empire which got burnt down to the ground due to the foolishness of mankind........and history is still repeating its ways of old.

typical san diego politics. a fight in PB , hand out tickets. a fight in southeast.draw weapons, grab anyone person n detain. shut down the bar, arrest the owner, tow vehicles. revoke license. how come in predominatly white areas beer gardens are allowed at street fairs. but not at logan hieghts affairs ?

Pete you made my point. It's only when you live somewhere where you're surrounded by losers and a$$holes that you have to have that attitude. Nice calm normal people living in a nice calm normal place don't have to worry that someone is going to try to punk 'em.

Gottahaveid, your exceptions prove my rule. Check the murder rate by neighborhood, the crime rate in general, or any other stat you want.
