Sweetwater trustee reports stolen property to police

The Morrison Hotel Gallery owes its name to a downtown L.A. hotel where Henry Diltz photographed what became the cover of the 1970 Doors album. Diltz's work anchors this new La Jolla gallery that offers 120 different prints for sale, from $400 to $2400.
Partnering with Diltz in the Morrison Hotel Gallery is Rich Horowtiz of Encinitas, who for the last 15 years has served as curator of the touring John Lennon art collection. Prints by Bay Area photographer Jim Marshall (who photographed Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and Miles Davis) will be shown through March 31.
