The great thing here is you can swagger up to the five-sided bar and blurt "Gimme an Effin beer!" and nobody's going to throw you out. It's a low, brick, Wild-West looking place. "SDSU's #1 College hangout!" says the sign. Inside, it's a cavern and standing-room only, usually. Pretty good, generous pizzas include the honestly dubbed "Artery Clogger" and "Hangover Heaven." But if you're pinched for boodle, go for the daily specials such as "Taco Tuesday" and "Wing Wednesday." Chicken-leg drumsticks with celery sticks are a good everyday deal. Philly cheesesteaks, too. Drinks? Try the Wiggly: Guinness poured into a glass already half-filled with Sprite. Where the two meet, the liquid wiggles and squirms.
