And on Sunday mornings, the Buddhist Temple of San Diego in Logan Heights serves up a communal meal of Japanese and American treats. But it's Shri Mandir, a Hindu temple in Mira Mesa, that offers the city's best religious vittles. On the first Sunday of every month, the Shri Mandir honors the god Shiva with a spectacular liturgy and, afterward, a tasty vegetarian spread.
