Due Process provides low-cost preparation of bankruptcy documents. Filing for Chapter 7 (discharging your unsecured debts so you're no longer responsible to pay them) costs $495, which includes attorney representation at creditors' meetings, plus a Bankruptcy Court filing fee of $200. Chapter 13 is a debt consolidation where you pay a bankruptcy trustee every month for three to five years and the trustee pays a percentage to your creditors. The pre-petition fee is $495, the filing fee is $185, and the trustee pays your attorney additional fees out of the plan payments he receives (for additional work required to get the court to confirm an acceptable Chapter 13 plan). Due Process does not accept credit cards as payment.
