The big guys in yellow jackets used to be considered the enemy by many concertgoers, when a few head-crushing security guards earned a reputation as thugs. Staff Pro, most visible as the oldest and largest in the local business, faced several lawsuits for assault and negligence. New training stresses "customer relations" to avoid physical confrontations, and the company filled out its force with guards possessing more human and less gorilla-like physiques. This makes the "customers,"even the ones sneaking a joint, much more relaxed.
