DVD Rentals: Frank Sinatra, from Tony Rome with love
Scott Marks 4:19 p.m., June 19
After two installments, Kate Beckinsale and her director husband, Len Wiseman, have dropped out for the backstory, but the murkiness and the monotone continue unabated, and Rhona Mitra fully matches the tire pressure in Beckinsale’s lips. The plentiful action is cut to tatters. With Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, and Steven Mackintosh; directed by Patrick Tatopoulos. 2009.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans
The rise of the lycans was one of the better prequels I have seen. It short simple and it worked. They didn't sugarcoat the death of Sonia the vampire. Lucian looked better in this movie then he did in the other underworld. The prequel I think was better that the two underworlds. It had a better script. It lacked nothing. It had good action. Plenty of werewolves. It answered all of the questions. I give it no black spots but only three stars.
