The Third World lives in almost every big city. Here it is the African diaspora in Brooklyn, with a wannabe musician (Alassane Sy) from Senegal and the troubled beauty (Sky Grey) he rescues. Andrew Dosunmu directed in docu-dots of story vignettes, which add up beyond plot. A great bonus is the superb color photography of Bradford Young. What an eye! 2012.
