Rockin Baja

About an hour south of San Diego, CA, along the Baja Coast, lies what was once a small fishing village called Puerto Nuevo. For many years, tourists flocked to the local fishermen’s houses to feast on local pacific lobsters. These lobsters, split open and flash-fried, were presented on big platters and served with piping hot flour tortillas, delicious ranchero beans, Mexican rice and local red hot chili sauce. Guests would pick the meat from the shells and wrap it in the tortillas along with the beans, rice and a dousing of hot sauce! And of course, icy cold Mexican beers and pitchers of margaritas would be the beverage of choice!

The Inslider

The Inslider is San Diego’s newest food truck addiction, serving gourmet burgers and sides on the go. Driven by variety, their first steps were to ask for input from the community on an assortment of topics from their name to colors for the truck. They then united a team with diverse experience in culinary, business and creative ventures. After much anticipation, and months spent developing the menu/preparing the truck – TheInslider hit the streets in March 2012. They've been serving up gourmet sliders and fries all over San Diego ever since.
