Rally at the Border
The first rally of its kind, Rally at the Border is galvanizing the people of Mexico and the U.S. to come together in saying “We Are One." An estimated 5000 individuals will be in attendance. Rally at the Border is a grassroots movement calling for people, regardless of party affiliation, race, religion, nationality, immigration status, gender, or sexual preference, to build a bridge of unity and break down walls of division. Organized by concerned U.S. individuals, in response to the anti-immigrant rhetoric of the current administration, Rally at the Border brings people together to defend the civil rights of migrant workers and immigrants.
There will be high profile political leaders in attendance as well as affected immigrant families, including the recently ICE detained woman from Arizona who has been in national news. The last portion of the program will be an unprecedented performance bringing together over 90 artists to sing an original song, "We Are One World."
