Civil War Re-enactment
The 17th annual Civil War reenactment groups from all over California will come together to recreate authentic battle scenes, bringing the sights and sounds of war to life. Beside the battle reenactments, attendees can expect to see real live cannon fire, period costumes, historical figures, Presidential press conference, soldiers in their camps, infantry and cavalry demonstrations, artillery demonstration, assembly and weapons inspection, and more during the two-day festival. Battles will be held twice daily at noon and 3 p.m. Civil War living history tours will be held throughout the weekend and include demonstrations as well as displays. The museum will also have self-guided walking tours of their collections of antique equipment and offer visitors a selection of food and refreshment.
