The World of Rabbits
Rabbits are known for their fluffy fur and cuddly behavior, but how did this wild animal become our pet? Join the San Diego House Rabbit Society to learn about the history of rabbit domestication and see the natural agility of these furry creatures in an obstacle course. Plus you can make rabbit toys and even pet the animals.
The World of Rabbits, a Living with Animals program, has two 45-minute demonstrations at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Free for museum members or with general admission.
About Living with Animals: We encounter animals everywhere in our daily lives: they cuddle up with us on the couch, crawl silently through our walls, sit on our dinner plates, and more. In this fun exhibit, you’ll take a journey and discover all the surprising, unique, and inspiring ways that we live with animals. Thanks to our partner, San Diego House Rabbit Society.
