KGB Sky Show
Each year since the mid-70's, KGB radio station has hosted a spectacular San Diego tradition, the KGB Sky Show, blending multi-media, theatrical lighting, video, and special effects to enhance the fireworks display. Additionally, it is all synchronized and choreographed to rock and roll music which is simultaneously broadcast on the radio. Of course the music can be listened to on the radio and the fireworks can be seen from the many neighborhoods surrounding Mission Valley, but you will want to be in the stadium for all the extras which over the years have included lasers, intelligent stage lighting, sky divers, movie special effects, propane flame effects, props, live talent, famous sports celebrities, the Rocket Man, and marching bands.
Takes place immediately following the SDSU Aztecs football game vs. New Hampshire (5:30 pm kickoff) at Qualcomm Stadium.
