The 40-member New City Sinfonia, led by Daniel Ratelle, will present An Autumn Concert, highlighting music with dramatic moods. The concert will feature cellist Sophie Webber in Max Bruch’s soulful Kol Nidrei, and will include Beethoven’s tempestuous Coriolan Overture, Karl Jenkins’ powerful Palladio, and two works by Felix Mendelssohn: his dramatic Symphony No. 1 in C Minor, and the sunny and stormy Beautiful Melusine.
