Romania: At Last!!!
San Diego Jewish Genealogical Society Romania: At Last!!! By Sandra Seay After having her genetic DNA tested, Sandra started on a journey of family genealogy which eventually led to discovering cousins in England who shared her Romanian roots. Together, with the help of a Romanian professor, Sandra and her newly found cousins decided to visit Romania to explore the origins of their great grandparents. This presentation is the story of that journey. Sandra Seay was born in England of mixed religious heritage. She has lived in New Zealand and California where she presently resides. She has had a varied background including a career as an interior designer as one of several assistants to Donna Karen. She began her journey as an amateur genealogist 10 years ago when she became curious about her family history. Due to Mother’s Day we will meet the third Sunday this month. 760-415-3889.
