Paella & Wine Festival
This culinary celebration features paella chefs from across the globe, unlimited tastings from wineries, breweries, and tequilerias from California and Mexico, and live mariachi and flamenco music.
Paella is a saffron-infused rice dish from Spain dating back to the 18th Century. Combined with a variety of meats, shellfish, and vegetables, paella was originally a peasant’s meal cooked over an open fire in the fields and eaten directly from the pan using a wooden spoon. Today, paella recipes range from decadent meats and seafood to vegan and vegetarian.
This second-annual event features the largest paella ever made in California with unlimited tastings, enough to feed 2000 people. Paella chefs and their teams will compete for Best Paella in the Cali-Baja Region, Best-Looking Paella, and People’s Choice.
