The Mainly Mozart Festival, running June 2-18, will feature a diverse line-up of artistic offerings illustrating the first chapter in Mozart’s life and career. Music Director Michael Francis has declared the 2016 season the year of “Prodigy” and has programmed early works by Mozart and other classical music prodigies. The performance features Michael Francis (conductor), Adam Neiman (piano), Yetzabel Arias (soprano), Kara Sainz (mezzo-soprano), Steven Soph (tenor), Lee Poulis (baritone), San Diego Master Chorale, and John Russell, music director. The program includes Mozart's Divertimento No. 4 in B-flat Major, K. 186/159b, Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 22, and Mozart's Mass in C minor “Orphanage”, K. 139/47a.
