The Mainly Mozart Festival, running June 2-18, will feature a diverse line-up of artistic offerings illustrating the first chapter in Mozart’s life and career. Music Director Michael Francis has declared the 2016 season the year of “Prodigy” and has programmed early works by Mozart and other classical music prodigies. The performance features Michael Francis (conductor), Umi Garrett (piano), Christine Taylor Price (soprano), Yujoong Kim (tenor), and Daniel Miroslaw (bass). The program features Mozart's Gallimathias musicum in D Major, K. 32, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major, Op. 19, and Mozart's “Bastien und Bastienne”, K. 50/46b.
