Dr. Matthew T. Herbst, faculty director of the Making of the Modern World Program at University of California, San Diego and recipient of the UCSD Distinguished Teaching Award in 2015, invites lecture attendees to explore the evolution of art through the eyes of a scholar with enthusiasm for history and culture.
Taking place on the third Friday of every month, the Friday Morning Lecture & Tour Series focuses on works of art on view in the museum. Lectures are followed by a docent-led tour.
