Crow Show '16: Reception
3867 Fourth Avenue, San Diego, 92104
Cost: Free
The Crow Show: A Celebration of Black Birds is an exhibition of visual art running from February 5 to February 28.
Found in nearly every corner of the world, Crows (Corvus) are considered one of the world’s most intelligent animals. They can create and use tools, communicate to each other, and are highly social creatures. In mythology, crows have fascinated mankind. For some cultures, they heralded important news and symbolized the unity of marriage; for others, the crows took on an ominous and dark role in war and death. The exhibition represents the many faces of the crow in reality and fantasy.
