Martin, author of the book Kiss Every Step, will recount her and her family’s story of extreme challenge and survival during Nazi occupation.
Born in Bedzin, Poland, Martin survived the Ludswigdorf Concentration Camp where she spent 3-1/2 years, forced to handle and measure explosive powder to build mines for the Nazi war effort. Doris Martin believes that her miraculous survival, and that of her family, is proof that there is still hope to make the world a better place. Ms. Martin will be available to sign her book immediately following the talk.
