Marine Science Day
4165 Spruance Road, San Diego, 92101
Cost: Free
Meet marine biologists and scientists, interact with sea creatures, and learn about San Diego’s diverse marine ecosystems.
This is a once-a-year opportunity when CMIL opens its doors to the public and a rare chance to experience what goes on at a working marine research laboratory. This event will showcase marine research conducted by SDSU faculty and students and provide public educational and outreach activities related to marine science and conservation and local marine ecosystems.
Throughout the day there will be interactive kid-friendly activities, research talks by students and faculty, games, a marine-life touch tank, SCUBA gear demonstrations, raffles, and more.
