A musical-inside-a-comedy is for those who love musical theatre and those who don’t care for it at all! Tracy Williams will direct. The Drowsy Chaperone begins with Man in Chair, alone in his shabby apartment pining for the good old days of Broadway when suddenly his favorite 1920’s musical bursts to life in his very own living room. A glamorous, hilarious tale of a celebrity bride and her outrageous wedding day, complete with thrills and surprises. “Everything always works out in musicals,” says Man in Chair. “In the real world, nothing ever works out and the only people who burst into song are hopelessly deranged.”
