Join the Multicultural LGBT Literary Foundation and the San Diego Central Library for a night celebrating Native American lesbian writing.
Chrystos and Janice Gould will read selections from their work and be available for book signings afterward. There will also be a small book fair focused on Native writing as well as booths featuring organizations from throughout San Diego.
Chrystos is a Menominee activist and poet whose work appears in the collection This Bridge Called My Back and who was the keynote speaker at 2011's Creating Change Conference. Janice Gould is a Koyoonk'auwi Maidu scholar and writer who is the Poet Laureate of the Pikes Peak Region.
