The Calm Water 5K paddle is open to any and all forms of human-powered paddle craft. Surfboards, paddle boards, boogie boards, canoes, kayaks, rubber alligators, or any other form of watercraft are welcome, as long as you can paddle it!

We will start at the Crown Point Shores beach at the southern edge of the parking lot and paddle south under the Ingraham Street bridge. Hugging the shoreline, the course will take you up around the cove to Dawes Street. Then follow the course back to the start line for the completion of the 5K (3.1 mile) paddle.

A bit much for you? The beautiful white sand beach runs the full length of the course, so you can rest anytime.

We will have live music on the beach, guest speakers, and guest paddlers. This event benefits the the Multiple Sclerosis Society, with opportunities to win  prizes in a drawing. T-shirt for all who register. Wave Goodbye to MS is a non profit, tax deductible fundraiser.
