The Coronado City Council unanimously approved the contract for PAWS of Coronado to take over the management of the Coronado Animal Care Facility. We will be celebrating this milestone with an all-day open house.

The day kicks off with the ceremonial handing over of the keys of the facility to PAWS representatives by the Mayor and representatives of the Coronado Police Department. The public is invited to partake of refreshments, mini tours of the facility, raffles, and meet our adoptables.

PAWS will have a table and tent in the parking lot. Our Junior Volunteers will be on hand to talk about their program and will be showcasing the cat- and dog-themed pumpkins they carved. IB Pets will be handing out goodies for canines and felines.
