Toast with Rumbling Tins
The Westgate Hotel and modern-creative Rumbling Tins Co. are partnering to bring a three-course, cocktail-paired dinner to The Westgate Hotel.
Guests can expect to taste libations specifically crafted by Rumbling Tins Co., an innovative cocktail company consisting of San Diego top bartenders, designed to complement The Westgate Hotel’s Executive Chef Fabrice Hardel’s French-inspired fare.
Attendees will indulge in the brilliantly arranged pairings while benefiting from an intimate educational evening with the veteran mixologists. As dinner is served, cocktails will be prepared directly in front of guests, all while being taught the history of spirits and classic cocktails, how to recreate these drinks at home and tips to a successful pairing.
Pairings will include:
• Diver Scallop & Roasted Heirloom tomatoes, Fava Bean Risotto and Redwood Goat Cheese paired with “Mister Bean” (Gin, Lime, Vanilla Syrup, Mint)
• Black Angus Beef Tenderloin, Morels Mushroom, Spring Onion and Smoked la Ratte Potato paired with “The Old Rye Sage” (Rye, Cynar, muddled Sage, Absinthe)
• Marshall Honey Crème Brûlée with Port Wine Marinated Strawberries paired with “The Port as Kiss” (Jamaican Rum, Tawny Port, Honey Syrup, Crème)
This is the first collaboration between The Westgate Hotel and Rumbling Tins Co.
