Whales, Stories of Giants
IMAC (The Municipal Institute of Arts and Culture of Tijuana) &
WorldBeat Center presents "Ballenas, Historias de Gigantes" (Whales, Stories of Giants). A bi-national cultural exchange.
Whales, Stories of Giants is a is a single story divided into four acts. The myths Baja California and Chile intersect just like the elements common to all humans, inhabitants eventually the same world with its seas and whales mating ceremonies and their deserts that speak about death as a part of evolution.
The goal of the show is to erase geographical and temporary borders (the journey of the whales is ancient and goes Baja California to the southern seas) but also the boundaries between reality and fiction using 3D stereoscopic projections, which make this an especially attractive children's show and other digital audiences.
