Noted local cook, author, and restaurant owner Su Mei Yu headlines the 2014 Olivewood Gardens “Seedling Soirée: A Celebration of Family” Gala.
Yu will be introduced by Sam “Sam the Cooking Guy” Zein who will emcee the event. Both Zein and Yu will discuss and promote healthy, local, and sustainable food products that can be easily incorporated into everyday family eating habits.
The reception will feature garden-inspired craft cocktails and appetizers from some of San Diego’s hottest chefs. The dinner portion will showcase locally grown and sustainable dishes served family style on the beautiful property of Olivewood Gardens.
