Tamale Party: Hands On

In this hands-on class, students will learn everything it takes to make tamales, from the preparation of the masa and fillings to the techniques of rolling and steaming. Tameles can be made ahead and frozen.
Recipes: Oaxaca mole pork; chicken and tomatillo; sweet potato, black bean, and roasted poblano chile. Please bring an apron and wear closed-toe shoes.
