Barefoot Wine Beach-Rescue Project: San Diego
The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, now in its eighth year, helps keep beaches, rivers, and lakes across America “barefoot friendly.” In 2014, Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation, along with community volunteers, are embarking on a tour of 15 cleanups nationwide, stopping in San Diego.
Following the cleanup, volunteers 21+ are invited to attend a Surfrider-hosted celebration featuring Barefoot Wine and surf-inspired fare.
Barefoot Wine offers wines and bubblies; the Surfrider Foundation San Diego Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches.
At Pacific Beach Drive (meet at the end on the sand). Look for the Surfrider tent!
Post-celebration at the Local, 809 Thomas Avenue.
