Día del Niño
San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum is proud to serve again as host for the annual Día del Niño (“Children’s Day”).
Children's Day is celebrated on various days in many places around the world, and in Mexico Día del Niño is traditionally celebrated on April 30. SDCDM is a community partner with a mission to inspire children to learn about our world through exploration, imagination, and experimentation.
On-site activities include live music and hands-on activities for children. Performances include salsa by Manny Cepeda, Ballet Folklorico by the Farr Elementary and Bayside Community Center’s el Tapito, and Mariachi performances by Mariachi Juvenil de San Diego.
This event is made possible with sponsorship support from the city of Escondido and The Nissan Family Foundation.
