The Brooks Theatre presents "Throws," an art exhibition featuring the work of Diana Carey.

The exhibit will feature paintings from Carey’s Nests and Tangles series, including some of her 8' nests and the original 13.5x8' Trees Ttiptych.

Carey’s paintings are created by throwing, splattering, and dripping paint onto a canvas using sticks and brushes. She strives for essence rather than realism in her abstract impression renderings of nests and landscapes. Carey has exhibited in solo and juried exhibitions nationally in galleries and museums.

Exhibition runs April 25-27.
