Friends of San Diego Architecture continues its series on the birth of the Panama-California Exposition with a presentation by Vicki Estrada, discussing “The Landscape Architecture of the Exposition: 1914."
Estrada is a landscape architect, urban designer, and president of Estrada Land Planning. She designed the Balboa Park Master Plan, the Central Mesa Precise Plan, and the San Diego Zoo Expansion. Her projects are countywide from San Ysidro to Oceanside and Santee to Ocean Beach, from trolley stations to skate parks.
Come early for coffee. A donation of $5 is suggested. Students are free. No reservations necessary.
