1 pm: “Duck-Duck-Goose: Finding Shakespeare” with Jane Mushinsky, MCC faulty.
The lecture will be an exploration of the Shakespeare authorship controversy from the mid-1600s to today. A mountain of evidence strongly suggests that “William Shakespeare” was the pen name of a brilliant and volatile member of Queen Elizabeth’s court, and William Shakespeare of Stratford was 10% theater and 90% sheep.

Tarot has become a widespread means of divination and self-knowledge but part of its fascination is its mysterious origin. How did this spiritual tool arise and develop?
