Musical Improv Intensive: George Caleodis
The event will feature five hours of musical improv instruction and coaching. Students are introduced to vocal performance, production, projection, and the fundamental concepts of musical improvisation.
Prerequisite: Scenic improv experience (level 2 or above).
George Caleodis teaches improv and musical improv at the Second City Training Center in Los Angeles. He currently writes, directs, and performs with several Los Angeles troupes including The Cartel, iO West’s Main Stage Sketch Show and POP company, SCLA’s Bingo, Edmund Serves Coffee, and The Family Funk.
In addition to teaching, coaching, and performing improv and sketch comedy, Caleodis has spent much of the last 15 years as a radio DJ and stand-up comic, opening for the likes of Kathleen Madigan, Frank Caliendo, and the Righteous Brothers.
