Explore the worlds of bacteria and yeast with local fermentor Mike Stivers. Learn to create natural probiotics in the form of foods including sauerkraut, fermented vegetables, yogurt, kefir, and kombucha. Participants will discuss the history of fermentation for preserving food as well as the nutritional benefits of creating a healthy gut. Sauerkraut will be served with Brats and homebrew along with samples of other fermented and cultured foods. Please call ahead with dietary restrictions.
