David Dixon 10 a.m., July 2
Champions play early jazz and Americana from the 20th century. The trio plays neo-traditional arrangements of timeless American music including genres such as old-time, country, Americana, blues, jazz, and jug from the 1890s-1940s. The trio consists of Nathan Helvey who plays brass, Dane Terry the vocalist and reeds, and Gary Lehmann on strings. Champions refer to themselves as the three-piece orchestra, and rightfully so.
