Bonnie Wright's acclaimed music series concludes its spring sessions. Based in Chicago, the Jeff Parker Trio took root in 1985, when Parker (guitar) and Chris Lopes (bass) met as 18 year-old students at Berklee College of Music. In 1988, they founded a band called the Last Kwartet, and moved to Chicago, where Lopes was the original bassist in the influential group Isotope 217 as well as the Chicago Underground Orchestra. Shortly thereafter, they met up with a young Chad Taylor (drums), and the triangle was created.
