Holi Festival of Color
329 Market Street, San Diego, 92101
Cost: Free - $45
A four-course celebratory menu, complete with vibrant-colored cocktails, colorful bindis (Indian forehead art) for each guest, traditional belly dancing, and festive décor. Holi got its name as the "Festival of Colors" from Lord Krishna, a re-incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who liked to play pranks on the village girls by drenching them in water and colors. Celebration held at both locations, downtown and in Del Mar.
