The "Pleasure of Your Company" music series sponsored by the Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library presents bluegrass band Virtual Strangers.

Band members include Mike Tatar Sr. on banjo and guitar, Jon Cherry on mandolin and guitar, Yvonne Tatar on stand-up bass, Kit Birkett on guitar and, when he's in town, fiddler Mike Tatar, Jr., with all members sharing in lead and harmony vocals. The Strangers sound is a mixture of traditional, Stanley, Monroe, and Flatt & Scruggs material, as well as more progressive music.

The musicians will be available at a complimentary reception following the concert. There is no charge for the concert, although donations are appreciated.
