Sonja Simonis, the present curatorial assistant at the Clark Center for Japanese Art and Culture in Hanford, CA, will speak on the important role China has played in the development of the arts in Japan. This lecture takes a closer look at the connections between Chinese and Japanese landscape painting through the centuries.
