San Diego Reader

San Diego trumpet virtuoso Gilbert Castellanos will lead an all- star trio including pianist Joshua White and bassist Hamilton Price. Castellanos has performed with the Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and many other top jazz groups and as leader of his own groups.

White, also from San Diego, is a young jazz pianist who has become a major player in the San Diego jazz community with San Diego groups and as a soloist.

Price is an established jazz player from Los Angeles who has played nationally with many of the current jazz greats. All Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library concerts are free and open to the public, including children ages seven and over with a parent or guardian.
