Writer's Symposium by the Sea
This annual event is designed to inspire both the writer and the reader. The evening interviews, conducted by symposium founder Dean Nelson, feature conversations about the stories behind the author’s stories. The audience eavesdrops on these exchanges and interacts with the writers during the Q&A sessions that follow. Specialized afternoon workshops, conducted by published writers, provide tips and insight into the writing process. Evening speakers include poet Billy Collins, journalist Cathleen Falsani, and local songwriters and musicians. All events and workshops in Crill Performance Hall.
