Megan Spector, a Carmel Valley Middle School student, is organizing this benefit concert for Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS). Megan's aunt was diagnosed with the disease three years ago. Moved by her aunt's struggle, Megan (with the help of her parents) decided to stage a concert in which all proceeds go to funding research for a cure.

The concert will feature performers from the San Diego theatre community that have previously starred in local, touring, and Broadway productions. It will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning theatre critic Pat Launer.
