Explores the themes and strategies that American artists deployed throughout three decades of intense activity. The exhibition features more than 50 examples of work by Edward Hopper, Charles Sheeler, Thomas Hart Benton, Peggy Bacon, Isabel Bishop, Reginald Marsh, Martin Lewis and others.
