More than 20 teams of middle and high school students compete with robots designed using Roombas. Competitors have built "an autonomous robot that can find its way through a set of fixed obstacles, locate an infrared and visible home station beacon, and activate a mechanical push-action switch at the home station." Saturday: team setup, trial runs, technical presentations; Sunday: competition. Public welcome. Included in admission (0-$11.75). 619-238-1233.
