San Diego Archaeological Center was founded for one reason: curation. Prior to that, "cultural material excavated in San Diego County pursuant to the mitigation requirements...virtually disappeared." San Diego County Archaeological Society meets for review of the accomplishments and plans for future by Center's executive director, Cindy Stankowski.
