Participants form a symbol of support in fight against cancer by creating a line of surfboards laying nose-to-tail in the sand, from Scripps Pier towards La Jolla Shores, during event hosted by UCSD Moores Cancer Center. Bring the most surfboards, win a prize! Last year's line was 1674 feet (more than five football fields long). Heali'i's Polynesian Revue performs authentic dances; Rob Mehl sings original, surf-inspired songs.
