Women's History Museum and Educational Center commemorates Women's Equality Day with Suffrage Parade beginning at Kate Sessions statue (on Sixth Avenue side of Laurel Street Bridge). Participants are encouraged to dress in "suffrage attire" (typically all white with purple sashes), bring "Votes for Women" signs. Parade proceeds across Laurel Street Bridge to Spreckels Organ Pavilion for concert, picnic. 619-233-7963.
